We all create different images in our minds.
Do you ever think about how when someone says something, it paints a picture for us in our minds? Based upon which words are chosen, an image begins to take shape. And the more we communicate back and forth, the more that picture comes into focus.
Some can take in more input than others...
Did you know that because their eyes are located on the sides of their head, waterfowl have panoramic vision? That enables them to see almost everything around them at once! As humans, we can assimilate what we see and hear instantaneously!
The key to a successful end product is for all involved to arrive at the same place.
Working together on a project is the perfect example of the give and take: where we go from an idea to a finished piece, using the 'eye' of our imagination.
As a voice actor, I love to collaborate to take creative projects to a place where a client envisions it could go. My part is to bring the words to life, based on what the finished piece will sound like, but also 'look' like, even if there are no visuals.
In our minds, there really are no limits as to what we can see.
